Meeraqi’s New Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore Proudly Risks Defying Convention

Meeraqi has defied convention in the film acting market with the release of its new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar. Further information can be found at https://meeraqi.com/film-acting-workshop-in-bangalore/.

Bangalore, India - January 12, 2018 /PressCable/ —

Earlier today, Meeraqi finally announced the beginning of its new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar, which has been in development since August 2017. The main aim is to help the attendees professionally in a big way by providing a list of genuine contact numbers/addresses of the casting directors in Mumbai… but it does so, with a difference.

Sudeep Bhattacharya, Director at Meeraqi, says: “We wanted to try something new with this Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar. Anyone familiar with the film acting market will probably have noticed how everyone else seems to teach the same old cliche methods of acting. This is a problem because it does not let acting be convincing.”

So as a welcome breath of fresh air, Meeraqi will instead teach them how not to act while acting in front of a camera. Meeraqi chose to make this move because actors these days either overplay or else underplay their roles and it is this that we want to change.

Sudeep Bhattacharya also said “We want to give our customers a real insight into the most natural way to act. With our new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore by Amit Tharwani and Raam Kumar, they have a fresh new possibility. We want them to feel they are getting something that they never got in life before they joined this workshop. Trying something new is always a risk, but it’s a risk we believe is worth taking.”

Meeraqi has been in business for for quite a long time, getting established in 2017. Since Day 1 it has always aimed at setting up an artists’ collective and creative space, which offers both professional and aspiring artists an avenue to expand their skill set, and express themselves through their chosen discipline..

This isn’t the first time Meeraqi has defied convention either. In October 2017 they caused a stir when they did Converge Festival at Meeraqi inhouse.

The new Film Acting Workshop In Bangalore At Meeraqi By Amit Tharwani & Raam Kumar is set to launch on 22nd January 2018 and end on 30th January 2018. To find out more about the workshop and Meeraqi, it’s best to visit https://meeraqi.com/film-acting-workshop-in-bangalore/.

Lyon snares 4 wickets, Pakistan slips to 77-5 in 2nd test

Oct 17, 2018

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Nathan Lyon snared four wickets in six deliveries as Pakistan's top order crumbled against the Australian offspinner on the opening morning of the second cricket test, slumping to 77-5 at lunch. In a stunning 11-minute period, Lyon (4-12) took a return catch to remove Azhar Ali (15) and then had Haris Sohail, Asad Shafiq and Babar Azam all out without scoring. Pakistan was in a reasonable position at 57-1 after winning the toss and electing to bat on Tuesday, and it was a dropped catch in the 19th over that seemed to trigger a...

Pakistan wins toss, opts to bat in 2nd test vs Australia

Oct 17, 2018

ABU DHABI, United Arab Emirates — Pakistan skipper Sarfraz Ahmed has won the toss and elected to bat in the second test of a series that is up for grabs after Australia's fourth-innings comeback in the opening match. Pakistan made two changes, giving top-order batsman Fakhar Zaman and left-arm seamer Mir Hamza test debuts as replacements for Imam-ul-Haq and Wahab Riaz. Australia retained the same XI that salvaged an expected draw in Dubai by batting for almost 140 overs and finishing at 362-8 in the fourth innings after being set a victory target of 462 on a seemingly deteriorating wicket...

Turkey seeks 12-year sentence for Barca's Turan for fight

Oct 17, 2018

ANKARA, Turkey — Turkey's state-run media says prosecutors are seeking more than 12 years imprisonment for Barcelona footballer Arda Turan for a nightclub fight in which he reportedly broke the nose of a singer. The fight last week between Turan and pop singer Berkay Sahin in a nightclub began after the midfielder allegedly made comments to the singer's wife. Turan, who is on loan to Istanbul Basaksehir, allegedly later entered a hospital where the singer was being treated, brandishing a gun. Anadolu Agency said on Monday Turan faces a 12 1/2 year sentence. Other media said Turan was being charged...

Sri Lanka cricket great Jayasuriya charged with corruption

Oct 17, 2018

DUBAI, United Arab Emirates — Sri Lanka great Sanath Jayasuriya became one of the most high-profile figures embroiled in corruption in cricket when he was charged Monday with two counts of disrupting an investigation. Jayasuriya was a star of the Sri Lanka team that won the Cricket World Cup in 1996 during a playing career that spanned 22 years and took in 110 tests and 445 one-day internationals. He later served on the Sri Lankan parliament from 2010-15, and became the national team's chairman of selectors. His reputation could be tarnished, though, after the International Cricket Council said the 49-year-old...

India rolls to victory over West Indies in 2nd test

HYDERABAD, India — Umesh Yadav and Ravindra Jadeja shared seven wickets as West Indies crumpled to a ten-wicket loss in the second test against India on Sunday. Yadav took 4-45 while Jadeja returned 3-12 as West Indies crashed to 127 all out in 46.1 overs in their second innings, leaving a paltry 78-run target for India. It was man of the match Yadav's maiden ten-wicket (10-133) haul in test cricket.
