December 7, 2017, Gibraltar – STK is delaying its Token Generation Event to coincide with STACK’s public beta launch in January, 2018. The public token sale will run from January 31 to February 14, 2018. The STK pre-sale is currently running and will end as scheduled on December 10, 2017 at 16:59 UTC.

STK is the first mass market instant cryptocurrency payment solution, providing access to more than 33 million merchants around the world.

“There is a growing demand for improved liquidity of cryptocurrency,” said Miro Pavletic, Director of STK. “Having a beta product in the market during our token sale will provide the first public proof-of-concept in the cryptocurrency payments space and solidify our position as the premiere mass market solution for instant crypto payments at point of sale.”

STK is also reducing its hard cap to $17MM USD, projecting early traction to support funding for future deliverables.

“Based on the response from our community and investment network, we’re anticipating fast growth in our initial markets,” said Pavletic. “This will allow us to replace a higher hard cap with early revenue, fuelling international expansion and supporting a larger user base.”

The STK token supply will remain the same at 500,000,000, of which 55% will be available for sale for a total public supply of 275,000,000. The token price has been updated to $0.10 USD. Token distribution will be based on the conversion rates from Ether to USD 24 hours before the close of the public sale or when the sale hard cap is reached, whichever comes first.

ICYMI in NFL Week 14: Savage hit, win-lose for Philly

Dec 11, 2017

Jarring as it may have been to see Texans quarterback Tom Savage lying on the ground with his hands twitching after a brutal hit in the end zone, what happened moments later was every bit as disturbing. Savage came back onto the field. The NFL's concussion protocol came under heavy criticism after it failed Savage on Sunday in Houston's 26-16 loss to the 49ers. Only after Savage briefly returned to the game did the medical crew determine that the quarterback did, indeed, have a concussion and remove him from the game. The fact that Savage was allowed back in after...

Niederreiter gives Wild 4-3 win over Sharks in OT

Dec 11, 2017

SAN JOSE, Calif. — Nino Niederreiter was frustrated at losing the puck during overtime. Once he got it back, he wasn't going to let another opportunity pass. Niederreiter scored 3:26 into the extra period and the Minnesota Wild beat the San Jose Sharks 4-3 on Sunday night after squandering a three-goal lead. Eric Staal scored twice and Ryan Murphy added a goal as the Wild extended their winning streak over the Sharks to four games. "It's always ideal when you can get a lead, especially on the road," Staal said. "Special teams gave them a lot of momentum and they...

Porzingis scores 30, Knicks hold off Hawks for 111-107 win

Dec 11, 2017

NEW YORK — The New York Knicks are still trying to learn how to make winning plays down the stretch, no matter the opponent. For starters, how to hold big leads in the fourth quarter. Or to make sure not to foul 3-point shooters. Or to limit easy opportunities at the free throw line. They did none of this Sunday night and still escaped with a win over one of the worst teams in the NBA. Kristaps Porzingis scored 30 points, Doug McDermott added 23 off the bench and the Knicks withstood a late push from the Atlanta Hawks for...

McCoy slides through snow to lift Bills past Colts 13-7

Dec 11, 2017

ORCHARD PARK, N.Y. — LeSean McCoy scored on a 21-yard run with 1:33 left in overtime to secure the Buffalo Bills' 13-7 victory over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday in a wintry, white-out setting best suited for snow shoes and sled dogs. McCoy finished with 156 yards rushing and topped the 1,000-yard mark for the sixth time in his career on a slick, snow-covered field. The Bills' sideline erupted after McCoy's touchdown, with numerous players running on to the field to either make snow angels or engage in celebratory snowball fights. Buffalo (7-6) stayed alive in the AFC playoff picture,...
