Perla, the Miracle Yorkshire Terrier Survivor Puppy

Perla is a Miracle Yorkshire Terrier Puppy raised by Yorkies of Austin. After becoming gravely ill and being told that she wouldn't survive, she was taken to another local Emergency Vet Called Central Texas Emergency Hospital in South Austin, Texas.

 Unfortunately, It was discovered that both Perla and her brother - June Bug, had come into contact with another Puppy that Yorkies of Austin hadn't raised, and the contagious illness caused June bug to pass away. Weighing only 1.5 pounds, he could not fight the infection. Refusing to surrender to euthanasia, Perla was transported to Central Texas Veterinary Specialty Hospital, where Perla is a survivor and Miracle puppy.

Pets are like family members, and when they get sick, it can be heartbreaking. Fortunately, there were many treatment options available for Perla, including a surprisingly effective one known as a fecal transplant.

Fecal transplants involve transferring healthy gut bacteria from one animal to another.

The overall journey and inspiration are so remarkable. To see this baby fight, this 6-day battle against all odds is truly remarkable and impressive.
