In October 2018, San Francisco Supreme Court Judge Suzanne Bolanos rejected Monsanto’s appeal to overturn a jury verdict which found that its popular weed killer Roundup causes cancer and gave plaintiff Dewayne Johnson a final award of $78.5 million in damages. NHL is a type of cancer that begins in the lymph nodes and affects a type of white blood cells.
